A Message from LOFT

LOFT is proud to announce the 5^th annual Night for Nonprofits. Given the current pandemic, LOFT moved this annual event on-line in an effort to keep our community safe and comfortable during a time of such uncertainty. This year, the event is designed to engage over 20 local nonprofits. In May 2020, LOFT provided $30,000 in grant funding for projects and programs that serve our community. This year, the funding included operational funds, as we know many nonprofits were unable to host annual fundraisers and that donations are down due to the pandemic. Therefore, LOFT is attempting to raise another $30,000 for local nonprofits.

We need your help to make this year’s event all it can be. Please consider supporting these nonprofits below that work to enhance art and cultural, civic, educational, health and human services, and municipal activities within Oxford and Lafayette County. This link will be open for one week and shared via social media. Viewers will have the ability to donate to organizations via CREATE’s payment platform. At 6:00 pm on August 20th, we will close the webpage. The video with the most views will receive a $1,000 grand prize from LOFT.

You may contribute directly by returning your check (made payable to CREATE, and designating your gift to LOFT or any of the nonprofits at LOFT, PO BOX 3041, Oxford, MS 38655. In addition, you may donate to LOFT through CREATE’s payment platform. Just click on the “donate online” link. If you want to donate to a specific nonprofit, you MUST specify in the special instructions field towards the bottom of the Donation form.
