LOFT to Host Virtual Night for Nonprofits

LOFT is proud to announce the 5^th annual Night for Nonprofits. Given the current pandemic, LOFT has decided to move this annual event on-line in an effort to keep our community safe and comfortable during a time of such uncertainty. This year, the event is designed to engage over 20 local nonprofits. In May 2020, LOFT provided $30,000 in grant funding for projects and programs that serve our community. This year, the funding included operational funds, as we know many nonprofits were unable to host annual fundraisers and that donations are down due to the pandemic. Therefore, LOFT is attempting to raise another $30,000 for local nonprofits.

We need your help to make this year’s event all it can be. Please consider being a sponsor and supporting this wonderful virtual event that celebrates nonprofit organizations that work to enhance art and cultural, civic, educational, health and human services, and municipal activities within Oxford and Lafayette County. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year, we will pre-record 1-minute videos of each nonprofit participant, highlighting their mission and how the organization has been affected by COVID-19. These videos will be posted on LOFT’s Night for Nonprofit webpage in a grid format for viewing. On August 13^th, 2020 at 6:00pm, we will open the website for the community to view the videos. This link will be open for one week and shared via social media. Viewers will have the ability to donate to organizations via LOFT’s payment platform. At 6:00 pm on August 20^th, we will close the webpage. The video with the most views will receive a $1,000 grand prize from LOFT. As a sponsor, your brand logo will be highlighted on the event website and promoted locally, regionally, and nationally.

You may make a contribution directly by returning your check (made payable to CREATE, and designating your gift to LOFT in the check notes) along with the information form inside the brochure. In addition, you may donate to LOFT through our payment platform. Just click on the “donate/sponsor online” link.
